The Steel Horse Rally Bikes & Badges is a free, family-friendly event featuring vintage motorcycles on display inside the museum. Plus, enjoy FREE ADMISSION to the U.S. Marshals Museum from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 3rd, thanks to Fort Smith Harley-Davidson, a proud sponsor of the event. A special thanks to the U.S. Marshals Museum for hosting the event.
The event was introduced at the 2024 Steel Horse Rally and received an overwhelmingly positive response from rally attendees. The museum had record-setting attendance during the 2024 event.
Enter Your Vintage Motorcycle in Bikes & Badges
Bikes and Badges is an “open” vintage motorcycle show and it's FREE to register your 25-year-old (or older) vintage motorcycle in to the show. All types of motorcycles 25 years old or older can be entered. Whether it’s a rusty road warrior or a shiny dream machine, we want YOU to be here!

Vote for your favorite bike to win the People's Choice Award
Each spectator at the event will receive one ballot to cast their vote for the 2025 Bikes & Badges People’s Choice Award. The winner will be announced from the Steel Horse Rally main entertainment stage on the corner of 6th and Garrison after the parade. The winner of “The People’s Choice” will have their name inscribed on the trophy that will remain on display at the US Marshals Museum.

The U. S. Marshals Museum tells the story of our nations’ marshals, the first federal law enforcement agency. After years of preparation, the Marshals Museum opened on July 1st, 2023. Located at 789 Riverfront Drive in Fort Smith, the 53,000 square-foot world class Museum shares the stories of justice, integrity, and service of the marshals who have bravely served our nation through an iconic experience that features immersive exhibits and interactive storytelling. From tales of the colonial days to the western frontier, to challenges of a marshal’s life today, you’ll encounter an America you never knew and be inspired by those who help hold it all together. In addition to the galleries, the Museum offers a gift shop "The Outpost" so that guests can take a bit of the Museum home with them! Congratulations to Joseph Armstrong, the People's Choice Winner of the Inaugural Bikes & Badges Vintage Motorcycle Show
The winning motorcycle was Entry #17 a 1942 Harley-Davidson WLA (World War II Era Bike) owned by Joseph Armstrong of Fort Smith, Arkansas. The one-of-a-kind trophy was designed by Mike Freeland and Gary Hayes and will remain on display throughout the year at the U.S. Marshals Museum. Thanks to everyone who made this event possible.
