Did we mention how awesome our Steel Horse volunteers are?

The Steel Horse Rally Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 charity established in 2015 to benefit local charities, honor veterans, military, law enforcement and first responders, and help the local community.

The 2019 charity application period is open from November 1st at 12:00 AM to December 31st at 5:00 PM.

In 2018, the 4th Annual Steel Horse rally donated over $30,000 cash and several thousand in-kind donations to our charities.

A portion of the proceeds from the 2017 Steel Horse Rally went to help support our charities. A check for $4000.00 went to the Fort Smith Museum of History. Thanks to everyone who made these donations possible!

The fourth annual Steel Horse Rally brought an estimated 100,000 people to downtown Fort Smith and surrounding areas the weekend of May 4-5.

Festival organizers say it was largest crowd the event has had, surpassing the estimated 75,000 people last year, and having an estimated $17.8 million economic impact on the area.

The First Annual Inaugural Steel Horse Rally Shootout was a huge success! With close to 2,000 fans in attendance, everyone got to see some incredible flat-track motorcycle racing on the high banks in Pocola, OK. Steel Horse Rally Inc., made their first charitable donation of 2017 at a volunteers appreciation party Saturday at noon at the former Combs Dairy property, 800 Torrington Way.

If the SHR even played a small of in the decision to reinstate the Motorcycle Patrol to the FSPD, we are very proud and excited! Thanks to Old Fort Harley and everyone involved in making this a reality. We are looking forward to seeing the bikes on patrol and they will be providing escort in the upcoming Thunder thru the Valley Motorcycle Parade at the 2019 Rally.

The Steel Horse Rally Inc. proudly announced Motorcycle Racing for the first time as an official event at the 2018 Steel Horse Rally, May 4th & 5th, 2018

We were excited to announce the new partnership with Tri-State Speedway which brought the very first motorcycle races as an official part of the 2018 Steel Horse Rally. The Steel Horse Rally Shootout was held at Tri-State Speedway, located just off I-540 on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border just minutes from downtown Fort Smith.

The Steel Horse Rally in conjunction with the Fort Smith Arkansas A&P Commission announced another record-setting year for the 3rd Annual Steel Horse Rally that was held May 5-6, 2017 in downtown Fort Smith.

According to president,  founder and rally organizer Dennis Snow said the rally has become one of the fastest growing motorcycle events in the country and that this year exceeded all expectations.

The 6th Annual Regional Veterans Day Parade & Celebration was held at Chaffee Crossing on November 4, 2017! We honored all who have protected, served and sacrificed in the name of American Freedom, and freedom for those around the world who are unable to obtain it for themselves!

Veterans Day Parade

For the organizers of the Chaffee Crossing Veterans Day Parade, the event is a time to honor those who served not only through festivity, but also through ceremony.

The seventh annual Chaffee Crossing Veterans Day Parade was held Saturday in the Chaffee Crossing Historic District. The parade was preceded by the presentation of medals to two military veterans and the family members of a deceased veteran.

5th Annual Frozen Knuckles Run

The Frozen Knuckle Run, just like the Steel Horse Rally, is about to celebrate it's 5th Anniversary. This annual fundraising ride happens in the month of February every year. The only thing that keeps riders off their bikes is rain. We have ridden in frigid temperatures but have been warmed with the friendly people's smiles and generosity as they make tax deductible donations to the Steel Horse Rally Inc. Initial estimates show that the economic impact of the 2016 Steel Horse Rally was $8.346 million, almost double the $4.272 million for the 2015 inaugural event in downtown Fort Smith.

Five local charities will benefit from the 2016 Steel Horse Rally, an increase from the number helped out last year after the inaugural Fort Smith biker event.

The Steel Horse Rally Inc. is proud to have donated a total of more than $20,000 to five local charities in 2017,because of the success of the 2017 Steel Horse Rally. The annual charity motorcycle rally in downtown Fort Smith the first weekend of May, the Steel Horse Rally Inc. was able to raise more donations this past year. Also, the Steel Horse Rally Inc. increased the number of charities that it helped this year and it is also increasing the amount given to $4,000 to each charity.
