Ride your motorcycle in the Thunder through the Valley Motorcycle Parade at the Steel Horse Rally! The Steel Horse Rally Thunder through the Valley Motorcycle Parade is dedicated to "All Who Serve" and honoring those who protect our country and our community. The parade goes underneath a huge American flag displayed between two large Fort Smith Fire Department firetrucks.* See parade route and map at bottom of page.
Best Parade Viewing Spot: Garrison Avenue, Fort Smith, Ark.
The parade will turn right onto Riverfront Drive, left onto A St., right on 13th St. and turn right onto Garrison Ave. where thousands of people will greet the riders. (Route may be subject to change). Even if you don't ride your motorcycle in the parade, we invite you to come experience this amazing event. The parade is led by some very special honorees of the Steel Horse Rally, including law enforcement officers on motorcycles and some unique bikes featured in the SHR Inc. Bikes and Badges Vintage Motorcycle Show.

What you need to know:
The Steel Horse Rally Thunder Through the Valley Motorcycle Parade is a "moving" tradition that has grown larger each year. The parade is open to all kinds of motorcycles and is free to all participants.
Larger 3-wheeled vehicles such as Slingshots may ride in the parade, however, for safety reasons, we ask that these vehicles ride behind all of the two-wheeled motorcycles.
During the parade, some streets and driveways will be blocked off, so please follow the instructions of law enforcement officers who will be directing traffic. No political campaigning or advertisements are allowed in the parade.
*This event is weather permitting
