The 2017 Steel Horse Motorcycle Rally has come and gone, a good time was had by all!
If you have never been to this area of Northwest Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma, we are so glad you made it and we are confident that you’ll be back. Locals and regulars we really appreciate you for coming out in force. Thanks to your attendance we were able to pay the bills, set back some money to keep the organization running and we are currently making our donations to our 2017 Charities.

The Steel Horse Rally Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 established in 2015 to benefit local charities. The first Rally was held May 1st & 2nd, 2015 in Fort Smith, AR and raised thousands for local charities with an attendance of more than 30,000 people and a local economic impact of more than $4.2 Million. In three short years the attendance has grown to an estimated record of more than 50,000 motorcycles and 75,000 people attending, according to the Fort Smith Advertising & Promotion Commission. The local positive economic impact of the 2017 SHR is estimated at $13,798,374,” a joint news release states from the SHR and the Fort Smith A&P.
The Motorcycle rally held in Fort Smith Ar., continues to serve as a charity event open to all, and honors “all who serve. 2017 Charities include Heroes on the Water, the Buddy Smith Veterans Home, The ARC for the River Valley, the Fort Smith Museum of History and Earthbound Angels.
The local Rally has already received several local and regional awards for being an outstanding community event and for having great live entertainment. An annual tradition in Fort Smith, AR the Steel Horse Motorcycle Rally boasts the Thunder Through the Valley Motorcycle Parade, Vendor Village, Heroes Row of Military and Veterans organizations, poker runs, concerts, and helping, even more, charities each year.
