The Steel Horse Rally Inc. proudly announces the return of Motorcycle Racing as an official event at the 2019 Steel Horse Rally, May 3rd, 2019

We are excited to announce our continued partnership with Tri-State Speedway which will bring the motorcycle races as an official part of the 2019 Steel Horse Rally. The Steel Horse Rally Shootout will be held at Tri-State Speedway, located just off I-540 on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border just minutes from downtown Fort Smith.

”We are very excited about the continuation of motorcycle races as part of 5th Annual SHR at Tri-State Speedway,” said SHR president Dennis Snow. “We are currently looking for riders and we will offer several classes again this year: Pro Class, Open, Single, Twin, Heritage and a special Dealers Challenge where motorcycle dealers within a 90-mile radius will compete for a revolving trophy. We will offer cash prizes to the pro classes and trophies to the winner in all classes.”

Tri-State Speedway owners Michael and Jeri Hoover added, “We are very excited about working with the SHR again to support this great cause with the 2nd Annual Steel Horse Rally Shootout. We look forward to working with the SHR team and continuing to grow with them in the future.”

Motorcycle racing is scheduled for Friday night, May 3rd at Tri-State Speedway with practice and hot laps slated for Thursday, May 2nd. With the continuation of the Steel Horse Shootout this year, the Steel Horse Rally continues as the only two-state motorcycle rally in the county!

The 2018 Steel Horse Rally brought more than 100,000 people to downtown Fort Smith, had a local economic impact of $17.8 million and raised over $30,000 for several local charities with even more raised with in-kind donations.

The Steel Horse Rally Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 charity established in 2015 to benefit local charities, honor veterans, military, law enforcement and first responders, and help the local community.
