After careful consideration and recommendations from public health and public safety officials, the Steel Horse Rally will be rescheduled for May 7th and 8th, 2021. The charity motorcycle rally is dedicated to all who serve and helps local charities and the community. In less than five years, the Steel Horse Rally has grown into to one of the largest two-day events in the region and is one of the fastest-growing motorcycle rallies in the country.
“The safety of our attendees, volunteers and all who attend the Steel Horse Rally is paramount,”said Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity President Dennis Snow. “With the current health emergency restrictions and uncertainty about the future, the decision to reschedule the rally was really out of our hands. We are devastated to have to make this announcement on behalf of our board, volunteers and sponsors.”
The Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity relies on donations and sponsors to keep the rally operating from year to year. You can make a charitable donation online at www.TheSteelHorseRally.comThe Steel Horse Rally on May 7-8, 2021 will benefit four local charities: The Buddy Smith Home for Veterans, the Fort Smith Museum of History, Antioch for Youth and Family, and the Children’s Service League.
The newly rescheduled Steel Horse Rally will feature the inaugural Cops & Cones Motorcycle Exhibition, Thunder through the Valley Motorcycle Parade, the Miss Steel Horse Rally Contest, a new entertainment location in the heart of downtown Fort Smith, plus many other events.
“The only thing predictable about the future, right now, is that it is unpredictable,” Snow said. “As individuals, we must continue to safeguard ourselves and our loved ones by washing our hands, social distancing, and following recommendations that will help us put this virus in our rear view mirror!”
