The Steel Horse Rally is now officially a two-state event and most the events and rides take place in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. Arkansas does not require adult motorcycle riders over the age of 21 to wear helmets, however, all riders who are under the age of 21 must wear a helmet. In Oklahoma, motorcyclists under the age of 18 must wear a DOT approved helmet. We always encourage safety first and encourage riders and passengers to wear motorcycle helmets and safety gear. It’s a good idea to check the laws of the state or states you may be riding through.
