The Public Guardians Poker Run for the Steel Horse Rally

Registration: 10:30 a.m. at Hooters, 6323 Rogers Ave., Fort Smith, Ark.

$20 Minimum Charitable Donation per person. At the final stop, players can also pay $5 for the chance at getting a bonus 100 point chip.

Kickstands up for Group Ride at 12:30 p.m. The Finish Line/End point is at the Steel Horse Rally Main Stage Area in the First National Bank Parking Lot at Garrison Ave. & 6th Street (Steel Horse Alley). For more info click here.

Registration for the Public Guardians Poker Run will start at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 2nd at Hooters at 6323 Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith. Bikes may ride the route on their own or wait for the group ride. Kick stands up for the group ride will be at 12:30 PM. Players will get their first 2 chips at Hooters. Cost is $20 per player. Prizes will be awarded for the highest score and lowest score. Highest score gets a portion of the proceeds. Lowest score gets their registration fee back. Donations benefit local charitable organizations: the Public Guardians LEMC and the Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity.

The Route: From Hooters, the ride goes east on Highway 22/Rogers Avenue to Highway 217 just east of Charleston to Highway 23. At Highway 23, the ride will go south to Booneville. First stop is at Jam Mart/McDonald's in Booneville at the corner of Highway 10 and Highway 23. Players will get their 3rd chip there. From there, the route will travel south on 23 to Highway 71. The route turns north on Highway 71 with the second stop at 71 Express at 504 US 71 in Mansfield. Players will get their 4th chip there. From 71 Express, the route will go up Highway 71 to Zero Street; left on Zero then north on Towson to downtown. The finish line is at the Steel Horse Rally Main Stage Area at Garrison Ave. and 6th Street (Steel Horse Alley). Players will get their 5th chip at the finish line.

At the final stop, players can also pay $5 for the chance at getting a bonus 100 point chip.
