The Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity is proud to announce that Vendor Applications are now available for the 2023 Steel Horse Rally that rolls into Fort Smith on May 5th & 6th, 2023.

The Steel Horse Rally is held the first weekend each May and the charity motorcycle event is dedicated to “All Who Serve” and helps several local charities and the community. In 2022, the Steel Horse Rally shattered previous attendance records with an estimated 200,000+ attendees for for the two-day event and a positive local economic impact of more than $22 Million. The unique setting of the Steel Horse Rally gives motorcycle riders an opportunity to park their bikes in the middle of historic Garrison Avenue - one of the widest historic downtown "Main Streets" in the USA. Attendees can park just steps away from all of the vendor areas and entertainment at the Steel Horse Rally.

Since it was established in 2015, the two-day event is one of the premiere events in the region. Each year, local charities and charitable organizations apply and several are selected to be recipients of the donations generated at the annual Steel Horse Rally. The Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity has donated more than $125,000 plus in-kind donations to local charities and charitable organizations. Plus the Steel Horse Rally gives organizations a unique way to get their message to the community at the Steel Horse Rally by donating informational booth spae to proganization who are selected after going through an application Process.

The SHR Vendors: An Integral Part of the Rally

A huge part of the success of the rally comes from the unique contributions that vendors bring to the Steel Horse Rally. The Steel Horse Rally is a family-friendly rally and there is no admission fee for people to enter the vendor areas. All items to be sold must be approved by the Steel Horse Rally Inc. before the event.  There are vendors fees and vary upon space and items needed (including electricity, water, additional parking passes, etc.). All applications, photos, documents, and payment must be received by the dates on the vendor application to avoid late fees. 

The Steel Horse Rally has vendors in three areas centered around Garrison Avenue in downtown Fort Smith. During the rally, portions of Garrison Avenue are open to motorcycle traffic only and motorcycles may park "nose-to-nose" on the yellow line in the middle of the avenue (very close to the vendor areas!). The three main Steel Horse Rally Vendor locations for 2023 include:

Vendors near the Steel Horse Rally Entertainment Stage and VIB (Very Important Biker) Area: 601 Garrison Avenue (in parking lot across the street from First National Bank of Fort Smith)

SHR Vendor Village: located in the 800 Block of Garrison Avenue, right in the middle of foot and motorcycle traffic during the Steel Horse Rally. This is where official Steel Horse Rally merchandise will be located and the SHR Inc. info tent. This is where the food court, restroom facilities are located.

Vendors at Cisterna Park near General Darby Statue: located in the 1000 block of Garrison Ave., next to the statue of General William Darby on a motorcycle, this location is right next to the giant American flag where motorcycles ride during the Motorcycle Parade on Saturday and near where the Cops and Cones Motorcycle Exhibition will be on Saturday morning of the rally. 

Steel Horse Rally vendor areas are located in the heart of historic downtown Fort Smith and close to all rally events and convenient motorcycle parking. The Steel Horse Rally Motorcycle Parade ends on Garrison Avenue right next to the vendor areas. The Steel Horse Rally is THE place to be: Featuring 80+ unique vendors that have all kinds of foods, services and wares!
