The Steel Horse Rally Inc. proudly announces Motorcycle Racing for the first time as an official event at the 2018 Steel Horse Rally, May 4th & 5th, 2018
We are excited to announce the new partnership with Tri-State Speedway which will bring the very first motorcycle races as an official part of the 2018 Steel Horse Rally. The Steel Horse Rally Shootout will be held at Tri-State Speedway, located just off I-540 on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border just minutes from downtown Fort Smith.
”We are very excited about the addition of motorcycle races as part of 4th Annual SHR at Tri-State Speedway,” said president Dennis Snow. “We are currently looking for riders and we will offer several classes the first year: Pro Class, Open, Single, Twin, Heritage and a special Dealers Challenge where motorcycle dealers within a 90-mile radius will compete for a revolving trophy. We will offer cash prizes to the pro classes and trophies to the winner in all classes.”
Tri-State Speedway owners Michael and Jeri Hoover added, “We are very excited about working with the SHR to support this great cause with the inaugural Steel Horse Rally Shootout. We look forward to working with the SHR team and growing with them in the future.”
Motorcycle racing is scheduled for Friday night, May 4th at Tri-State Speedway with practice and hot laps slated for Thursday, May 3rd. More information is available on the website at www.TheSteelHorseRally.com or call (479) 414-3775 or e-mail info@TheSteelHorseRally.com.
